The last few days I have been so fed up with summer that I can't seem to put any outfits together. Today I dressed more in the direction of fall to try and shake this outfit block and get excited about the seasons changing.

kimono vibes

I spotted this robe on a quick trip to Target and decided it was way too pretty to be worn with pajamas. I love the pattern, colors and material and the silhouette reminds me of a kimono. I paired it with a mini dress that is also from Target, shoes from UO, a vinyl clutch that I made and some orange lipstick.

ombre jeans

Today I'm wearing this cool bandage, courtesy of a work accident! I crushed my finger in a pneumatic press on Tuesday. One of my coworkers rushed me to the emergency room and it was all very bloody and over the top. I was convinced that I was going to lose my finger and I would never sew or craft or LOVE AGAIN because it looked all smushed and nasty and freaky. Turns out I was very lucky (and a little dramatic) and only sustained minor nerve and tendon damage and some burst blood vessels. I can't sew or dye my hair for a few weeks, but honestly, I'm just glad I still have my finger.
